Sublimation / transfer printing

Digital printing via transfer paper, fused to the fabric via calender press under heat and pressure. Photorealistic, ideal for small formats.

Thermal sublimation transfers print inks in gaseous form into the polyester fibre. The inks thus become an integral part of the fabric — very durable colours, no flaking.

Advantages: very precise colour quality, smooth gradients, ideal for paper hand-waving flags as well as for roll-up fabric.

Limitations: only polyester / synthetic fabrics printable (cotton does not work).
