The cantonal flag of Vaud (VD, capital Lausanne) shows the official cantonal coat of arms: Horizontally divided white over green with inscription « Liberté et Patrie ». Available sizes and confections

We produce the Vaud flag in the following standard formats:

  • Square: 60×60, 90×90, 120×120, 150×150, 200×200, 250×250 cm
  • Rectangular (hoist flag): 90×150, 120×200, 150×250 cm
  • Custom size: cm-accurate on request

Confection: hollow seam at top (for tensioning rope or pole), eyelets, carabiners. For permanent outdoor pavoising we recommend carabiners with reinforced eyelets.

Fabric: standard polyester 115 g/m² for most uses, premium polyester 155 g/m² for intensive outdoor stress, marine flag fabric for extreme conditions.

What standard sizes are available for the Vaud flag?
Standard sizes are 60×60, 90×90, 120×120, 150×150, 200×200 cm (square) as well as 90×150, 120×200 cm (rectangular). Special sizes on request.
Are the arms really officially correct?
Yes — we reproduce the coat of arms exactly according to official directives. For complex coats of arms we work with high-resolution templates.
Which size for mast pavoising?
On municipal masts typically 120×120 cm or 150×150 cm. On private masts mostly 90×90 or 120×120 cm. For boom masts, choose to match mast length.
Which fabric for outdoor permanent pavoising?
For intensive permanent pavoising we recommend premium polyester 155 g. For extreme sites (high altitude, coast) the marine flag fabric — both UV-stable and particularly durable.
